Description: The research program of the IMDEA-Nanociencia comprises the following areas: design and synthesis of molecular nanostructures and nanomaterials, electric transport in nanostructure and molecules (nanoelectronic), superconducting nanostructures, semiconducting nanostructures for quantum information, nanomagnetism, nanophotonic, atomic and molecular self-assembly at surfaces and spectroscopy on molecular systems, advanced microscopies and local spectroscopies, inelastic spectroscopy at surfaces.
Focus is on nanostructures that exhibits particular interesting magnetic and electric properties for technological applications in molecular, organics and conventional spin-electronics, organics solar cell, and quantum information.
